The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by the University against the order of the High Court directing admission to the M.B.B.S. course, as the matter had become infructuous due to the respondents not joining the course and one respondent completing studies in agricultural science. The Court noted that the appeal no longer had practical significance and chose not to express any opinion on the interpretation of attendance requirements by the Academic Council. The dismissal was made without costs.
