Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the Arbitrator did not misconduct himself by accepting refreshments during proceedings held in the premises owned by the appellants, as both parties shared the use of the premises and no objections were raised at any time. The Court found that the allegations of misconduct were unfounded and restored the judgment of the learned Single Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, which had upheld the Arbitrator's conduct. The appeal was allowed without any order as to costs.
