Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court dismissed Special Leave Petitions Nos. 9009 and 9010 of 1982, affirming the District Judge's finding that the petitioners had made false representations regarding their provisional admissions to a medical college. The Court held that due to this misrepresentation, the petitioners were disentitled from any relief. The conduct of the petitioners and their counsel was deemed reprehensible, although the Court refrained from referring the matter to the Medical and Bar Councils after receiving an unqualified apology from the counsel.
