The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking directions to release the LTC budget of the petitioners for Block Year 2020 to 2023 as per demand sent by respondent No.4 through bearing No.362 dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-2). 2. The petitioners are working as employees in the Forest Department, as per the list attached as Annexure P-1 to the present petition. The petitioners are entitled to Leave Travel Concession (LTC) in terms of the Government policies framed from time to time; however, the same has not been released for the block year 2020-2023. 3.
