The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the office order dated 01.12.2020 (Annexure P-16), whereby the appeal/representation dated 05.08.2020 against office order dated 24.07.2020 (Annexure P-10) has been rejected and a penalty of 5% cut in pension for a period of two years along with recovery of Rs.6,81,697/- from the retiral dues of the petitioner has been imposed.
