The petitioner by means of the present petition has assailed the order dated 22.11.2025 passed by the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Mirzapur by which he has imposed penalty of Rs.5 lacs and has further directed the petitioner to deposit Rs.2,54,87,715/- for the illegal mining of building stone and sand stone. 3. It appears that a lease deed has been executed by the petitioner with the State Government in MM-6 for excavating building stone and sand stone on 15.05.2023.
