The case of the petitioners is that their land was acquired by NHAI and an award was also made. The petitioners have received compensation but the rehabilitation and resettlement award has not been made as per the Second Schedule to the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
