Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking following substantial relief: “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 22.05.2025 passed by the respondent no.2. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna to forthwith. the petitioner.” 3. Brief facts of the case are that the petitioner’s son, Brijesh Kumar, died on 06.02.2024 due to drowning in Mumbai. The deceased was a farmer and certain agricultural land was recorded in the revenue record against his name. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the death certificate of petitioner’s son has been issued by the Government of Maharashtra on 11.10.2024 a
