Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Fuzail Ahmad Ansari, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The present writ petition has been preferred seeking following reliefs : "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay higher compensation at the rate of Rs.2600/- per sq. metre to the petitioner in respect of the land acquired by them. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Application No.480 of 2024 filed U/s 18 of the Land Acquisition Act (Hemlata v. State of U.P. and others) filed on 13.09.2024, which is pending before the respondent no.2 expeditiously and within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3.
