The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer :- "a. Issue, a writ, order or direction, in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order dated c passed by the Respondent No. 3 &2 enclosed as Annexure-1&2 to the writ petition. b. Issue, a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent Authorities, not to give effect the punishment order of censure entry in the forthcoming promotion of the petitioner to the next higher post, and same may be considered notwithstanding the aforesaid punishment." 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that while awarding censure entry to the petitioner absolutely no reason has been assigned by the respondents to discard petitioner's explanation. Aggrieved against the aforesaid statutory appeal filed by the petitioner was also rejected by the respondent no.2 vide order dated 06.03.2025.
