Heard Sri Akash Mani Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2. The order dated 24.02.2026 passed by the District Commandant Home Guard Bulandshahar/respondent No.3 by which the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been rejected is under challenge in the present petition. 3. Facts in brief as contained in the petition are that father of the petitioner was working on the post of Home Guard and he died during course of his employment due to rail accident on 20.11.2007. It appears that the petitioner was minor at the time of death of his father. According to the affidavit appended along with the writ petition, as on date the petitioner is aged about 24 years.
