The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking issuance of directions to the official respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and their family members and take action on representation dated 08.05.2026 (Annexure P-10). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that a representation dated 08.05.2026 (Annexure P-10) has been made before the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Hoshiarpur raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon.
