(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the letter dated 10.09.2025, Annexure P-13, whereby the petitioner’s candidature for the post of PGT (Chemistry) against advertisement 19/2024 has been rejected on the ground of not fulfilling the requisite qualification, i.e., Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the respondents to issue appointment to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel contended that the objection is baseless, as the petitioner’s degree of M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry) from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, Telangana, Annexure P-2, is equivalent to M.Sc. (Chemistry), as certified by the Dean (Academic) as well as Head of the Chemistry De
