The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking quashing of order dated 24.04.2026 (Annexure P-7) whereby his request to change his employment status has been rejected. He is further seeking direction to respondents to update his status from ‘other employment’ to ‘unemployed’. 2. The petitioner on 29.05.2022 suffered a brain stroke which led to paralysis on one side of his body. His disability was assessed ‘permanent’ to the extent of 70%. The State of Haryana on 24.08.1992 came up with a policy to award disability pension to handicapped residents having permanent disability. Said policy was amended from time to time.
