The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ certiorari for quashing the action of the respondents of withholding the payment of Rs.80,496/- being interest on delayed payment of salary to the petitioner and paying the same to co-employees of the petitioner. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the petitioner the amount calculated/sanctioned, being interest on delayed payment of salary. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has also served legal notice dated 07.04.2026 (Annexure P-8) to the respondents which is still pending consideration.
