In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to decide the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal of the arms license on 15.09.2023 (Annexure P-1 and P-1/A), in a time bound manner. 2. A perusal of the facts of the case would show that the petitioner had submitted an application for renewal of his arms license to the respondent vide acknowledgement receipt dated 15.09.2023 (Annexure P-1 and P-1/A). It transpires that various correspondence has taken place between the petitioner and the respondents however, no decision has been taken on the application filed by the petitioner for renewal of his arms license.
