Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the proceedings, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, where the parties have amicably resolved the dispute and entered into a settlement/agreement PARVEEN KUMAR 2026.05.29 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment. Learned counsel for the respondent acknowledges the compromise. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the report of the Mediator, this Court finds that quashing the complaint will accord a quietus to all disputes between the parties and it is in the interest of both sides to bury the hatchet and lead a peaceful life. Thus, no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings and in order to secure the ends of justice, the criminal proceedings in the present case deserve to be quashed. 5.
