The instant petition under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short - ‘the BNSS’) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.0075 dated 22.03.2026, registered under Section 22(C) and 27 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act added subsequently), at Police Station Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. 2. As per the allegations of present FIR, total recovery of 10310 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride, 17,702 Pregabalin capsules, 20 loose intoxicating tablets and Rs. 49,000/-drug money was made from possession of co-accused. Present petitioner - Vijay Kumar was nominated in the present case with the allegations that above-said recovered tablets was procured by co-accused from present petitioner and co-accused Chirang Jindal.
