In pursuance of the order dated 09.04.2026, an affidavit dated 23.04.2026 has been filed by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Batala, District Gurdaspur, Punjab and the same is taken on record. 2. The present application has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) praying for appointment of an independent Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes which have arisen between the parties. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that an Agreement has been executed between the applicant and respondent No.2- Municipal Corporation, Batala vide Annexure P-8 da
