The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize their services w.e.f. 24.01.2019 as per instructions issued by the Punjab Government, Department of Personnel, vide letter dated 04.03.1999 (Annexure P-3). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have also served legal notice dated 25.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) to the respondents, which is still pending consideration.
