In the present writ petition, the challenge is to the order dated 23.09.2024 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No. 2-Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chandigarh (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Tribunal’) by which, the benefit of invalid pension has been granted in favour of the respondent No.1 for his service rendered from 21.12.1995 to 06.05.1996. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners-UOI submits that though, the disability of “Schizophrenia-295” was being suffered by the respondent No.1 but, the said disability was assessed to be neither attributable to nor aggravated by the Military service. Despite this fact, the benefit of invalid pension has been granted by the Tribunal. 3. Learned co
