The respondent, by instituting the writ petition before the learned Single Judge, sought a writ of certiorari quashing, setting aside and cancelling the show cause notice dated 17.04.2026 issued by appellant no.2 under Section 4(1) and 4(2)(b)(ii) of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 [hereinafter referred to as the „P.P.
