The present appeal has been preferred by the claimant–appellant seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Narnaul (hereinafter referred to as “the learned Tribunal”), vide award dated 07.12.2002, whereby a sum of Rs.1,47,000/- along with interest @ 9% per annumwas granted on account of injuries sustained by him in a motor vehicular accident dated 30.04.1999. 2. Briefly stated, the claimant was travelling from Ateli to Narnaul in a Tata 407 bearing registration No. HR-46/1648 (hereinafter mentioned as TATA 407) along with his brothers, after closing their business premises.
