The Tribunal vide award dated 04.05.2009 had awarded an amount of Rs.25,000/- along with interest as compensation on account of injuries suffered by the injured/claimant in a motor vehicular accident. 2. A perusal of the paper book would show that during the pendency of the present appeal, a detailed settlement/agreement dated 22.04.2026 has been arrived at before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and a copy of the said settlement/agreement has been placed on record and as per the same, the additional compensation to which the appellant is entitled to is Rs.12,000/- (including interest). It is further stated in the said settlement that the said amount has already been paid on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2 by their counsel. 3.
