Present revision petition has been filed against the impugned order dated 08.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhiwani, whereby learned trial Court dismissed the petitioner’s application filed under Section 187(2) of the BNSS, 2023, seeking release on default bail. 2. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner on 20.04.2026 following was recorded: “(i) xxx (ii) Petitioner is accused of committing an offence under Section 21B, to which Section 27A of the NDPS Act, 1985, has subsequently been added. Relying upon the law laid down in Rakesh Kumar Kaul vs. State of Assam (2017) 15 SCC 67, the Court observed that, since prescribed period of 180 days for submission of the final report in such cases had admittedly not elapsed, the petitioner was RASHMI 2026.05.19 10:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this
