This appeal has been instituted by the owner/appellant against the Award dated 06.10.2004 vide which a sum of Rs.1,49,200/- has been awarded as compensation to claimants/respondents on account of death of Netika Sood in an accident. However, the Insurance Company has been exonerated from its liability to indemnify the insured on the ground that the driver possessed fake driving licences and the insured had violated the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. The Insurance Company was directed to pay the awarded amount to the claimants but was given the right to recover the same from the appellant/insured/owner. 2.
