At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since there was a mistake in the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of the passport, accordingly, he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition, with liberty to the petitioner to first approach the passport authorities with fresh application and then avail his legal remedy, if need so arises. 3.
