The present criminal appeal has been preferred against the judgment of conviction dated 11.01.2005 and order of sentence dated 13.01.2005 passed by Addl. Sessions Judge, Sonepat, whereby, the appellant has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 04 years, pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- for an offence punishable under Section 399 IPC, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 04 years, pay fine of Rs.1,000/- for an offence punishable under Section 402 IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 06 months for an offence punishable under Section 25 of the Indian Arms Act and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 01 month.
