The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of the FIR No. 0055, dated 20.02.2022 under Section 174-A IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Narwana City, District Jind (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 was filed by the complainant before the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Narwana. The petitioner failed to appear before the said Court, as a result of which he was declared a proclaimed offender in the complaint case.
