The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking issuance of writ of prohibition restraining respondents No. 1 to 3 from taking any further action against them qua civil suits and criminal complaints filed by respondents No. 4 to 7. They are further seeking stay of all civil and criminal complaints preferred by respondents. They are also seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to club all pending civil and criminal cases. 2. As per pleadings, the respondents No.4 to 7 have instituted approximately 50 civil suits and criminal complaints on overlapping causes. The complaints are filed alleging nuisance on account of firecrackers, cigarette smoke, waste burning, loudspeakers, parking, road obstruction and defamation. 3. The petitioners are claiming that respondents
