FACTUAL MATRIX 2. The Appellant joined M/s. Projects and Equipment Corporation of India Limited, Respondent No. 2, on 26.03.1977, whereafter he proceeded on deputation with National Rural Roads Development Authority, Respondent No. 1, on 30.11.2010 and remained on deputation until 22.05.2015. The Appellant retired on 31.05.2015 as the Chief Finance Manager at Respondent No. 2 upon attaining the age of superannuation. 3. Respondent No. 2, in collaboration with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (“LIC”), introduced the EDCSF Scheme and described it as a pension scheme.
