Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.91 dated 2.3.2026 under Sections 61(1)(a) of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill, 2020) and Section 318(4) of BNS (Sections 61(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) of BNS added later on), registered at Police Station Sector 32-33, District Karnal. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand with liberty to file afresh on the same cause of action by filing a duly constituted petition by appending alongwith it the order rejecting the regular bail of the petitioner by the concerned Sessions Court. 4.
