The present petition has been filed by the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail in case arising out of FIR No.26, dated 13.02.2026, registered under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 351(2), 190 and 191(3) of the BNS, at Police Station Hathur, District Ludhiana Rural. 2. Vide order dated 30.04.2026, passed by this Court, the petitioners were granted interim bail and were directed to join investigation. 3. Status report has been filed by learned State counsel, as per which the petitioners have joined investigation on 07.05.2026 and have got recovered one baseball and an iron rod respectively. She has, however, submitted that for the purpose of conducting thorough investigation in the matter and to ascertain the identity of other assailants, custodial interrogation of the petitioners is required. 4.
