The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the petitioners salary in the minimum regular pay scale with dearness allowance in terms of the law laid down by Hon’ble Supreme Court in State of Punjab Vs. Jagjit Singh : 2016 (4) SCT 641 and various other judgments passed by this Court and to pay the arrears for the said period along with interest @ 18% per annum. Further, to consider and regularize the services of the petitioners on the basis of length of service of the petitioners and to allowe them to continue on the post of Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery/ANM or Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW) till the time the posts are not filled up through regular selected candidates. 2.
