The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Writ Court in CWP-8117-2021, titled as ‘Sukhjinder Singh Sandu vs. State of Punjab and others’, whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to reconsider the grievance of petitioner and decide afresh within a period of 06 months. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of the Writ Court order dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), a Speaking Order dated 04.05.2026 has been passed by respondents whereby claim of the petitioner has been rejected. As such, nothing survives in the present petition. 3. A copy of the Speaking Order dated 04.05.2026 has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. Heard. RISHU KATARI
