The present civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent-Department to grant the petitioners all notional benefits and consequential benefits. Further, to grant the said benefits from the date of their appointment and grant the arrears along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of their appointment till the release of the aforesaid benefits. 2.
