Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the order dated 02.06.2025 passed by the Additional Director General, Prisons, Punjab, Chandigarh in favour of co-accused Baljit Singh, during contempt proceedings initiated by him in COCP-5087-2024, in light of the judgment of this Court in Pohlu @ Polu Ram vs. State of Haryana and Others, CRWP-8232-2022, decided on 05.02.2024. He states that the petitioner is similarly placed and prays that his case be also decided in the same terms. 2.
