(ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a direction to the respondents to promote petitioner no.3 to the post of Workshop Superintendent from the date of eligibility. 2. On the last date of hearing, i.e., 22.04.2026, the following order was passed: Learned State counsel contends that petitioners no.1 and 2 have already been promoted with effect from 05.03.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, however, contends that petitioners no. 1 and 2 are entitled to promotion from the date of their eligibility. He, accordingly, seeks permission to withdraw the petition qua petitioners no.1 and 2 with liberty to challenge the orders of promotion. 3. Permitted to do so. 4.
