(ORAL) The instant appeal assails the judgment dated 27.10.1994 passed by the Court of Senior Sub Judge, Rupnagar, vide which Award dated 31.08.1993 was made a rule of the Court and a decree for recovery of Rs.12,99,348/- with simple interest @ 12% per annum was passed. 2. Today, at the outset, learned Senior counsel representing respondent No.1 has produced a demand draft dated 16.05.2026 for a sum of Rs.8,54,611/- drawn on ICICI Bank, in favour of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, PWD, B&R, Branch SAS Nagar. A photocopy of the said demand draft has been retained on the record of the YAG DUTT 2026.05.19 17:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
