Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the appellants submits that the impugned judgment has been passed on the basis of the judgment dated 01.02.2018 rendered by the learned Single Judge in CWP No.7920 of 2013 titled as Manmohan Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others. She further submits that the aforesaid judgment was assailed by the State of Punjab by way of filing LPA No.449 of 2019, which also came to be dismissed. Therefore, the present LPA may be dismissed in terms of the judgment passed in LPA No.449 of 2019 in Manmohan Singh’s case (supra). SANDEEP KUMAR 2026.0
