Present intra-Court appeal has arisen against the judgment and order dated 10.04.2026 passed by the learned single judge in Santosh Kumar Vs. C.G.M. State Bank of India and Others, 2026:AHC:79487. By that order learned single judge has dismissed the writ petition filed by the original petitioner- appellant seeking compassionate appointment for reason of 23 years time having passed, since the occurrence of death of his father, on 26.01.2003 and for reason of the petitioner having not claimed ex-gratia compensation. 3. Also, it has weighed with the learned single judge that the writ petition had been earlier dismissed for want of prosecution and was later restored. Thus, exercise of discretionary jurisdiction has been declined. 4.
