(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking the production and recovery of the detenue namely Rabina i.e. live-in-partner of petitioner, from the illegal custody of respondent No.4. The counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner and Rabina are classmates who were in a live-in relationship. They had filed a petition seeking protection of their life and liberty.
