Brief facts of the prosecution case are that the petitioner, in connivance with the other co-accused, allegedly cheated the complainant on the pretext of investing money in a company with the assurance of earning three times profit. Hence, the present FIR. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has no role in the alleged offence. It is contended that all the allegations regarding inducement to invest money are against co-accused Baljinder Singh and Amandeep Kaur, and there is no specific allegation against the petitioner.
