(ORAL) Pawan Kumar, son of appellants No.1 & 2, and brother of appellant No.3, lost his life in a motor vehicular accident, which occurred on 15.09.2018. The appellants ins"tuted a claim pe""on under Sec"on 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 seeking compensa"on from the driver, owner and insurer of the offending vehicle. Learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, vide award dated 18.04.2023, allowed the claim pe""on and awarded compensa"on amoun"ng to ₹7,89,464/- along with applicable interest, payable jointly and severally by the respondents. 2. The present appeal has been preferred by the claimants seeking enhancement of the compensa"on awarded by the Tribunal.
