GREWAL, J (Oral): The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.43 dated 08.05.2025, under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 191(3) and 190 of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Kotli Surat Malhi, Batala, District Gurdaspur, Punjab (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise deed dated 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR is outcome of an unfortunate accident. It is submitted that the dispute between the parties has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised.
