Present civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant family pension in favour of mother of the petitioners, namely Janak Rani, on account of death of their father, namely Om Parkash Arora on 12.02.2020 and from the date of death of their mother i.e. 28.04.2025, to them and also to release all the arrears thereof in favour of the petitioners being legal heirs, for the period from 13.02.2020 to 28.04.2025 along with interest @12% per annum. 2.
