Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 0222 dated 14.08.2020, registered under Sections 22, 25, 29 and 61 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Division-A, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. 2. Petitioner has also sought interim bail on the ground that his father expired on 11.05.2026 and he wishes to attend the bhog ceremony. It is noticed that learned Special Judge, Amritsar, while declining the interim relief vide order dated 14.05.2026, had granted liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application for attending the bhog ceremony under police security. 3. Learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, submits that present case involves re
