Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.37, dated 12.03.2025, registered under Sections 21, 22 and 27-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of the NDPS Act added lateron), at Police Station Division No.1, District Pathankot. 2. Brief facts of the present case as per the prosecution are that on 12.03.2025, ASI Sunil Kumar alongwith his fellow police officials was present on patrolling and on the basis of suspicion, apprehended co-accused Sucha, who was found in conscious possession of 12.50 grams of heroin and Rs.1350/- drug money. Initially the FIR was registered against the said co- MAMTA MALHOTRA 2026.05.26 14:19 accused. I at
