Learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that he be granted time to deposit the mandatory amount of Rs.25,000/- under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act. 2. In view of the law laid down by this Court in Jatinder Kumar and others vs. National Insurance Company Limited and others reported as 2025 NCPHHC 36959 wherein it has been held that the deposit of Rs.25,000/- or 50% of the award amount is mandatory and that no provision of law permits exemption from this mandatory deposit, learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that the present appeal be disposed of and liberty be granted to the appellants to revive the same after making the said deposit. 3. In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of with the aforesaid liberty. 4. In case any application for revival is moved, then, proof of deposit of the amount be annexed. (VIKA
