The present civil revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the impugned order dated 23.02.2026 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, District Ambala, whereby the application filed by the petitioner under Order 1 Rule 10(4) read with Section 151 CPC for impleading one Mohar Singh as respondent was dismissed. 2. Briefly stated, Narinder Kaur and others (claimants) filed a claim petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 seeking compensation to the tune of Rs. 50 lakhs along with interest @ 18% per annum on account of the death of Gurmit Singh son of Balkar Singh in a motor vehicular accident dated 24.08.2022.
